Yesterday the president lifted the ban on offshore drilling.

“We can’t just Drill Here, Drill Now, Pay Less! It’ll take ten years for that move forward to produce any change at the pump!” they said.

Well, now, isn’t it interesting that practically before the President had gotten the verbiage for lifting the offshore drilling ban out of his mouth, the price per barrel of oil dropped by $9.26 to $136 (Let’s see now, I think that translates to 6.3 percent lower without one newly-supplied barrel having been brought to the surface yet! Hmmmm.)

Tomorrow’s Sunday!

It’s the day of the week that I hope we all look forward to the most.

“Why?” you say.

In my case, certainly not because it’s a day of rest! At least, not until the afternoon when I typically collapse on my bed and drift in and out of never-never-land while attempting to watch PGA golfers duke it out on some gorgeous course somewhere.

(By the way, how about Tiger’s pull-it-out-of-the-fire performance…uh…again…last Sunday?)

No, not because it’s a day of rest, but because we (e.i., you and I) GET TO go to church and worship the living and true God! With each other! In broad daylight! Without fear!

FINALLY, Getting Back to “Careers to Date…”

Greetings BCers! Don’t even worry about what time it is right now or I might get off on another (see yesterday’s post) rant!

So there I was (see June 13 post), driving a transit bus for two different Seattle area authorities. Twelve year’s worth.
