Yesterday the president lifted the ban on offshore drilling.
“We can’t just Drill Here, Drill Now, Pay Less! It’ll take ten years for that move forward to produce any change at the pump!” they said.
Well, now, isn’t it interesting that practically before the President had gotten the verbiage for lifting the offshore drilling ban out of his mouth, the price per barrel of oil dropped by $9.26 to $136 (Let’s see now, I think that translates to 6.3 percent lower without one newly-supplied barrel having been brought to the surface yet! Hmmmm.)

Yep, folks, Global Warming has finally arrived here in Boardman Country, so I’ve shut off my ozone-piercing lawnmower at least for today? I’m warm enough for now, but just let our JUNuary daytime temperatures drop back below the prescribed 70 degrees and I’m out there cranking that thing up again. Pay Less for Gas

Have I got your attention?
As you can see, just to the right of this post under the Interests column, I have a new widget: “Tired of High Gas Prices?” If you’ll do me the favor of checking it out, I think you’ll be, as I am, intrigued.
Here in Boardman Country we’re currently paying $4.37/gallon for gas! I’m sure that wherever you’re located in the United States you’re having a similarly excruciating experience. Don’t worry. Someday soon we’ll get into the politics of that!
Suffice it to say here that $4.37 for a gallon of gas is TOO DARN MUCH! HELLO?
