Well, the weekend is over but there’s still enough work to last awhile.
Brer Marc and the boys left early this afternoon for home, which will be a glad sight for them all after having been put through the paces the past few days. But oh, how much we accomplished.
Just to give you a glimpse of what I’m talking about, here are a couple quick shots.
First, Dad’s new deck addition under construction. Although you can’t see the whole thing here (it’s about 40 feet from the existing deck to the outside edge of the new phase), this should give an idea of what we’ve been up to. Things are hoppin’ here in Boardman Country, which is the main reason my posts have gotten a little spotty.
Along with the usual goin’s on, we’re now under construction in two different parts of the Boardman Compound (You may recall that I live next door to The Folks!).
Project #1 is the new Care Giving Room that I’m building so that the next friend or family member that needs it will be accommodated. It will have space for two side-by-side hospital beds and will include an accessible bathroom complete with roll-in shower.
